I’m happy you’re here!
Growing up I had always been a care taker! As I got older I felt my calling was in the classroom and that led me to begin my career as a teacher, where I spent five years working in inclusion classrooms. Supporting children of all abilities taught me patience, advocacy, and the beauty of meeting each individual exactly where they are. During those years, I also discovered something else in my heart — I had always wanted to be a mom.
Today, I am a proud mother to two little girls. Both of my daughters were born at home in the water in beautiful, physiological births. Those experiences were transformative for me. They showed me firsthand how powerful, intuitive, and capable a woman’s body truly is. After my second birth, I realized I had developed a deep passion for birthwork, and I felt called to support other women and families as they walk through this sacred season.
In addition to my work as a birth doula, I work part-time at Edgewood Chiropractic. Through my time there, I have gained a deep understanding of the importance of a balanced nervous system for both mom and baby. When the nervous system feels safe and supported, birth can unfold more smoothly, babies transition more gently, and mothers are better able to heal and thrive postpartum. This perspective has greatly shaped the way I support families — holistically, intentionally, and with great respect for the body’s design.
Above all, I am here to support mothers and families in making the best choices for them. That means offering evidence-informed information, compassionate presence, and space to honor both research and lived experience. Every family’s story, values, and intuition matter.
Motherhood is one of the most transformative journeys a woman will ever experience. It stretches us, refines us, and grows us in ways we never imagined. It is an honor to walk alongside the moms in our community during such a sacred and life-changing season.
My Birth Philosophy
I believe pregnancy and birth are powerful, God-designed processes. Our bodies were beautifully and intentionally made for this work. Birth is not something to be feared — it is something to be understood, embraced, and respected.
Physiological birth allows the body to do what it was created to do when given safety, support, and freedom. When a mother feels informed, seen, and secure, her body can respond in incredible ways. I believe in protecting the birth space, supporting the nervous system, and trusting the natural rhythms of labor.
I believe in honoring each family’s unique circumstances and choices. True empowerment comes not from one specific type of birth, but from a mother feeling informed, supported, and confident in her decisions. My role is not to direct, but to support — emotionally, physically, and educationally — so families can move forward with peace and confidence. I am not here to replace support people for the birthing mom but help find ways to encourage and bring everyone into the life changing moment.
Pregnancy is transformative. Birth is empowering. Motherhood is life-changing. And it would be a true privilege to support you as you embrace this sacred chapter of your life.
